Kim has been a volunteer for the Jaymie Jamison Foundation for Hope since the beginning as she has a personal connection with Jaymie. Kim's daughter married Jaymie's brother, but also had a friendship before hand :-).
Kim was interviewed about why she volunteers for the Foundation. She replied," I volunteered for the Jaymie Jamison foundation to spread gynecological cancer awareness to my family, friends and to others to make a difference in their lives. But not only was Jaymie a long-time friend of mine, but importantly she became my family when my daughter Anna married her brother Cole."
Kim describes why she feels our Organization is important, "The Foundation has given me the opportunity to get involved in our community as well as for myself to learn more about gynecological cancer. I never really understood what this type of cancer was about until I became involved with the Foundation."
When asked about her favorite event Kim says," My favorite event has been the ‘Panties Across The Bridge’ this is a great way to spread the word about – what is ‘The Jaymie Jamison Foundation’ and our mission is for educating women to be aware of this type of cancer."
Thanks Kim for all you do!
