Cancer Fighting Food

Is your diet full of cancer fighting, cancer preventing foods? Check out the list to see if you have anything you need to add to your daily intake!

1. Strawberries- they are one of the leading anti cancer foods. It is believed by researchers that people who eat them on a regular basis are 70% less likely to develop certain cancers.

2. Green Tea- scientists have found a compound in green tea that inhibits cancer growth. This is great news for regular tea drinkers!

3. Tomatoes- They are rich in lycopene which is a strong cancer fighting nutrients.

4. Dark Chocolate- This contains molecules that slow the development of cancer. A single square of dark chocolate has twice the anti cancer properties as red wine.

5. Red Wine- antioxidants help inhibit the development of certain cancer cells.

6. Nutmeg- not only does it help fight cancer, but can prevent cardiovascular disease.

7. Tuna- even small amounts of this fish can help protect against Ovarian Cancer. A compound in the fish ultimately causes cancer cell death.

8. Pineapple- pineapples contain bromelain. This keeps cancer from even getting started.

9. Garlic- it can damage cancerous cells.

10. Grape Seed Oil- antioxidants are thought to reduce the risk of developing cancer. It is also thought to protect the liver from damage cause by chemotherapy medications.
