Volunteer Spotlight: Meet Connie

Meet Mrs. Connie Patrick!
Connie has been a Foundation member since the beginning in 2011. When asked Connie why she volunteers she says, "I volunteer because this organization means so much to people I love dearly!  The foundation is one way to bring awareness to all women, but especially young mothers that tend to put their own needs aside while caring for their families."

When asked what her favorite event is she states, " The bridge event is my favorite because it involves entire families and allows everyone to be a part of the activities."

Thank you Connie for helping us raise awareness for gynecological cancers.

Volunteer Spotlight: Meet Jen Patrick

Meet Jen Patrick!
(Jen is on the right).

Jen has been a part of the Jaymie Jamison Foundation for Hope since the beginning in 2011. She served as Secretary on the Board from 2011-2014.

When asked why she volunteers Jen said, " I couldn't pass up an opportunity to learn more about nonprofit organizations while honoring someone that I loved as much as Jaymie."

When asked why the Foundation is important she replied, "The foundation is important because it reminds women that they need to take care of themselves in order to take better care everyone else in their lives. It let's them know that it's okay to put themselves first."

"My favorite event is the golf scramble. Not only is it fun to participate, it's great to see so many men supporting an organization aimed towards women. It's a great reminder that our cause appeals to everyone, not just female cancer patients."  Says Jen.

Thanks Jen for your hard work and dedication to the Jaymie Jamison Foundation for Hope. We thank you from the bottom of our heart.
