Panties Across the Bridge

We are so excited for our upcoming Panties Across the Bridge!! This is our 3rd Annual event and we have some new  events to add to the days schedule!

As many of you know we are lighting the bridge TEAL!! We are taking awareness to the next level! Teal will be seen from Newport and Cincinnati all through the night. You do not want to miss this!!!

This year the bridge is taking a health and wellness turn! We will have St Elizabeth's Cardiovascular Mobile Unit on site for screenings. All screenings are $25! St Elizabeth's Mammography Mobile Unit will be there with free screenings thanks to Komen for the Cure! We will have other health and wellness booths from 12-6pm. We will also be holding a Zumba-thon!

From 4-10pm we will have different bands and performances as well as speakers. Christina Klein from the Make a Noise for Ovarian Cancer will be a guest speaker. We are very excited to hear her speak again. Several of us from the Foundation had the pleasure Listening to her speak at "An Inspirational Night with Shannon Miller" last fall. She was amazing and we would love to share her story with you!

We are working on gathering panties
For the bridge. A new idea this year was to have celebrities sign panties, and hang them along the bridge. We sent out several requests to celebrities. In October Olympic Gold Medalist Shannon Miller autographed a pair. Then this weekend another pair arrived! Teen Mom 2 Star Leah Calvert sent her autographed pair! How cool!!!

Please help us gather panties! Go to a Reds game and have players autograph a pair! Have your family members send a pair from another state! How many states can we get? Decorate a pair! Help us donate a pair to make women aware!

We are still accepting vendors for the bridge. We are still accepting donations for our raffle. We are still accepting lighting sponsors. If you or your company sponsors $1,000+ you will have your name lit up along the Newport on the Levee buildings! How cool is that!?

We are So excited for this event! I hope you can bring your family and friends out to enjoy our event and help make all your loved ones aware of gynecological cancers!
